The NaviGAYtion 1 cruise was the first ever all-gay cruise in Australia and departed from Sydney on March 29 2007, returning to dock on April 1, 2007. All Gay Cruises chartered P&O's Pacific Sun for what was undoubtably an unparalleled adventure.... All under the watchful eye of Cruise Director Farren Heit and the AllGayCruises team.

Waiting onboard was a vibrant mix of unforgetable dance parties with Sydney's top DJ's, cabaret & comedy evenings in the theatre, model swimwear contests, showstopping Dragmania shows featuring some of Sydney's most well known divas...

The price included the cruise, a cabin with ensuite, all main meals, full breakfasts, a choice of a-la-carte lunch or buffet, four course dinners, afternoon snacks, entertainment activities, free admission to nightclubs, bars, dance parties and events on the ships, and the use of the on board gymnasium.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the water... The long-rumored NaviGAYtion 2 Cruise became a reality, sailing aboard the Luxury Cruise Ship Athena: a fully-chartered ship offering 600 guests an intimate and pampering experience that was hard to forget.

We set sail on Friday Feb 5th and returned Monday Feb 8th, Adelaide to Adelaide with a port stop in Kangaroo Island. the cruise offered a reunion atmosphere with so many familiar faces could reconnect and where schedules disappeared into magical sunsets. The toughest decision was where to meet friends on deck!

Athena facilities

With a handsome profile and walk around deck Athena carries about 600 passengers and offers a wide selection of well-appointed public lounges and comfortable cabin accommodation spanning eight passenger decks serviced by two lifts.

Her enhanced facilities include two sitting dining arrangements in the impressive two-sectioned Olissipo Restaurant with an alternative buffet dining facility in the Lotus Lounge. There is a choice of five comfortable lounges and bars, including the impressive Calypso Show lounge, a nightclub, cinema, casino, shopping boutique and photo shop, library, internet café, card room, fitness and health centre with sauna and massage facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, and a beautiful marbled reception area.
